Ransomes has been providing quality turf maintenance equipment for over 180 years. From parks and sports grounds to highways and fine lawns, the Ransomes range has a model for every application.
T H White’s Grasscare Division was rooted in the company’s long-standing relationship with Ransomes of Ipswich, who began making the Budding cylinder mower in 1832 – the same year in which T H White was established in Devizes.
The Ransomes MP series has been developed from the ground up as a new generation of adaptable and practical wide area mowers. Delivering productivity on all fronts, the Ransomes MP Series is highly manoeuvrable, easy to transport, engineered for reduced downtime and boasts the best power to weight ratio in its class.
The Ransomes HR300 utilises a 3-cylinder turbocharged 33hp Kubota diesel engine. This is matched with a revised hydraulic transmission system giving high torque and high power. The improved transmission efficiency provides an out-front rotary or flail mower with superior hill climbing ability. There's also a choice of wheel widths for better stability and an operator platform that has better accessibility.
The option of a hydraulically-driven rotary deck or flail head eliminates the need for a PTO shaft and gearbox, allowing maximum articulation on uneven ground. The lack of a PTO shaft also allows the mower to be mounted closer to the tractor to reduce the overall length and the need for excessive counter-balance weights.
The Ransomes Marquis is a traditional yet robust walk-behind cylinder mower available in 51cm and 61cm cutting widths. Ideal for sports turf, ornamental gardens and large formal lawn applications, there is a choice of five and six blade cutting cylinders. An optional trailing seat is available for the 61 model only. Powered by a Honda 4hp engine, the centrifugal clutch with easy engagement makes the machine very easy to use. Durable steel rollers are fitted as standard and the Marquis range comes complete with a robust, moulded grass catcher.
