The history of E-Z-GO stretches back more than 60 years and was created by two brothers in the USA who believed they could design and build a better golf car than any other available. The same ethos applies today and E-Z-GO leads the way in small electric vehicle design.
Technologies unique to E-Z-GO include the highly energy-efficient AC Drive system used in the RXV golf-car platform, Exceed Hybrid Technology - which supplements an E-Z-GO electric vehicle's electric drivetrain with a small gas-powered generator for up to 150 miles of range between charges, and the PowerFilm Solar Panel, which recharges E-Z-GO RXV and TXT electric vehicles on the fly, increasing range between charges and reducing the amount of electricity required from the grid to recharge the vehicles.
Featuring a 30 per cent more efficient AC drive, 350 fewer parts and a full time regenerative braking system, the RXV electric sets the new standard for golf cars. For the golf course, there's lower energy and operating costs, easier maintenance and less down time. For the customer there's a superior playing experience from enhanced comfort features to increased braking control. The RXV petrol golf car retains many features of the RXV electric but instead is powered by a quiet, smooth and efficient low rpm 13 hp Kawasaki engine.
The TXT 48 Electric benefits from TrueCourse technology unique to E-Z-GO. This allows the vehicle to be programmed to suit the terrain of the golf course giving more or less regenerative braking and adjustable acceleration. This technology also ensures the vehicle has anti roll-back, walk away braking and alarm. The E-Z-GO TXT Petrol Fleet features a 10.1kW (13.5hp) 401cc single cylinder petrol engine. This gives more than enough power and torque to comfortably transport golfers, their clubs and bags. An internal counter rotating balancer shaft ensure a smooth running engine.
E-Z-GO Utility Vehicles are fully equipped to help you tackle those tough jobs. Higher ground clearance, a maximum load capacity of up to 1,000 pounds, and your choice of petrol or electric powertrains puts you in the driver's seat for getting work done.
